Nisbett, Caroline

Art & Design

St Martin’s School of Art, Covent Garden, London, led directly to a career in design and surface decoration for textiles and homeware products for Sir Terence Conran’s many shops including Habitat, The Conran Shop, Heal’s, at Conran Design Group, London. After 7 wonderful years at Conran’s it was on to freelance illustration and design of product ranges. Life included the first Digital Art Gallery in London, Colville Place, W1, owned and run by my husband, as we both worked as part of our Design United company, whilst bringing up two sons. Creativity, art and design continued to the present day culminating in image making for digital print and textiles from an historic Weavers’ cottage in Bradford on Avon. My website gives full details about my professional career in art and design stemming from my drawing ability. My Instagram page is where to find my most recent art updates. The images on this page range from drawn portraiture from life, heraldic crest for the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra RPO, colour artwork for textiles and giclée prints.
