I work mainly, but not exclusively, with epoxy resin. I like to manipulate the resin to produce vibrant abstract paintings on canvas and wood. I have more recently taken to painting resin on furniture and homeware which has proved popular. Working with themes of contradiction and ambiguity I like to manipulate shape, colour and form to bring order out of chaos, balance out of disharmony. The resin has a life of its own so I dialogue with it to create an image that wouldn't have happened by design. The paintings represent a moment in time, a polaroid snap of the landscape of the soul. I have exhibited my work as part of Bath’s Open Studio Art Trail as well as other solo and collective exhibitions. I have recently moved to Wiltshire so this is my first exhibition with The Cloth Road Artists. I am contactable via email, Facebook and Instagram. My website is currently down for maintenance. I have a studio at my home and accept commissions, although due to the nature of resin it is not possible to reproduce a particular colour or design. All my work is for sale.
