As part of this promotion of visual arts we organise regular networking and exhibition opportunities, including our established Arts Week event; an open studios for a nine day period every other year.

Become a friend of the Cloth Road Arts

It’s FREE to become a friend of the Cloth Road Arts. Friends benefit from receiving regular newsletters, being the first to hear about upcoming events and are invited to private views and launch events.

The Arts Week is a celebration of the visual arts in West Wiltshire, and takes the form of a series of open studios and galleries for a nine day period every other year.

Our area has some outstanding countryside for you to enjoy as you travel between Trowbridge, Bradford-on-Avon, Melksham and the surrounding villages. In these locations you will be able to find galleries, workshops and individual makers’ studios, where artists will be delighted to meet with you to discuss their work.

Exploring the Trail

The Cloth Road Arts Week focuses on the West Wiltshire Towns of Trowbridge, Bradford on Avon and Melksham.

The following towns and villages are within The Cloth Road Boundary.

  • Trowbridge, Bradford on Avon, Holt, Semington
  • Melksham, Box, Broughton Gifford, Monkton Farleigh
  • Rode, Southwick, North Bradley, Steeple Ashton, West Ashton, Dilton Marsh, Yarnbrook
  • Seend, Bromham, Chittoe, Worton, Bulkington, Great Cheverell, Poulshot
  • Norton St Philip, Limpley Stoke, Winsley, Stowford, Hilperton

The Arts Week is not exclusive to the towns and villages listed. If you would like to check if you fall with in the Cloth Road Arts area then please get in touch.
