As life gets going again we are looking forward to the 2022 Cloth Road Arts Week. Applications have now opened for individual artists, groups, and local businesses to join us in celebrating the wealth of arts and creativity on offer in the local area. This is a great opportunity to meet and form a network of local artists, and of course get your artwork seen by a wider audience.
In addition to all the usual benefits, this year there will also be the opportunity to display a piece of your work in a central exhibition at the Town Hall Gallery in Trowbridge, the Cloth Road Young Arts Scheme, along with training in marketing yourself effectively.
As planned for the 2020 Arts Week we will also be providing additional promotion for those exhibiting alone. We value the experience offered by artists exhibiting from their own home or studio and recognise that it can be harder to attract footfall, particularly if you are a little off the beaten track. So, to provide more support, we will be introducing additional marketing featuring solo artists and promoting the benefits of visiting artists in their own environment.
There’s not long to go now, so whether you are a professional artist or artisan looking for a platform to exhibit or you are only just starting out and are looking to test the water, join us in making the 2020 Cloth Road Arts Week the best ever!
Applications to become a member of the Cloth Road Arts will open in AUGUST 2021. Keep an eye on the website, follow us on Facebook or join our mailing list for updates.
